The Talven Web Assistant by industry

Talven has built a solution adapted to each industry below. The examples describe what the Talven Web Assistant is designed to do. They are not results, and they name no customer.

Does the Talven Web Assistant work for my industry?

The Talven Web Assistant is adapted to hotels and hospitality, restaurants and events, real estate, healthcare practices, retail and e-commerce, professional and IT services, education, and the public sector and non-profits.

The foundations are the same in each case: knowledge you approve, the channels you use, the actions you allow, and the lines only a person may cross. Each business keeps its own voice, visuals and rules.

If your industry is not listed, the same foundations still apply when your customers ask questions before they buy. The fastest test is to try it on your own website.

Can I see the Talven Web Assistant on a business like mine?

Yes. The closest example to your business is your own website, so you can start a free trial, or ask for a free pilot if you have a larger project.

You can also request a guided demo of Sapphire Bay, a fictional resort, and see short examples for a bakery, a bike shop, a restaurant and a dental practice on the product page. Those examples are illustrations.

Does the Talven Web Assistant work for hotels and hospitality?

Yes. A guest describes the stay they want, and the Web Assistant answers, shows suitable rooms, prepares a brief, and carries the request to the front desk.

Our demo resort, Sapphire Bay, shows this from both sides. For a hotel with a property management system, the Mews PMS customer connector answers about reservations, arrivals and guest requests.

Does the Talven Web Assistant work for restaurants and events?

Yes. The Web Assistant shows menus and venues with your pictures, and it turns an event inquiry into a brief with the occasion, the numbers and the tastes already in it.

An event house can offer menus, venues, delivery and whole celebrations. The Web Assistant asks what is being planned, for how many and in what spirit, then brings forward what fits. The planning team starts from a formed brief.

For restaurants, a TheFork Manager connector for table reservations is in early access.

Does the Talven Web Assistant work for real estate?

Yes. The Web Assistant searches an agency's real listings and answers in the visitor's own words.

People describe the life around a home: where they need to be, what they can spend, and when they hope to move. A viewing request takes shape inside the conversation and reaches the agent with its context.

Does the Talven Web Assistant work for a healthcare practice?

Yes. For a healthcare practice, the Web Assistant acts like a capable member of the front desk, never like a doctor or a nurse.

It works in three ways:

  • General questions. It explains in plain language what the practice publishes about a condition, a procedure or a service, and it links the practice's page.
  • Personal clinical questions. It does not answer them. It says a clinician must assess the visitor, and it gives the practice's next step. It does not name causes, suggest treatments or advise on medication.
  • Administrative questions. It helps with the right clinic, contact, form, referral step or billing route.

It does not ask for symptoms, medication lists or insurance numbers in chat. It moves that conversation to the practice's own secure or staff-managed step. When a visitor says it is an emergency, it follows the practice's published emergency wording.

Each practice sets its own facts, such as referral rules, phone numbers and forms.

Does the Talven Web Assistant work for retail and e-commerce?

Yes. The Web Assistant asks what a good shop assistant would ask, then brings the right products forward with live facts such as price and availability.

A considered purchase often starts with an occasion, a budget or a feeling, rarely a product code. A serious inquiry reaches a person with the intent already understood.

The Shopify integration reads live products, prices and availability. The Shopify customer connector answers order status and returns against the customer's own account.

Does the Talven Web Assistant work for professional and IT services?

Yes. The Web Assistant guides a visitor who arrives with a problem to the right part of your practice, and it hands the inquiry over with the intent attached.

A consultancy's product is judgment, and visitors rarely know the name of the service they need. The conversation makes your expertise visible, so the first meeting starts further along.

Does the Talven Web Assistant work for education?

Yes. For a school or training provider, the Web Assistant answers questions about programs, dates, fees and admission from the content the institution publishes.

Students and families often arrive with different questions, in different languages, at any hour. The Web Assistant answers from approved content, shows the right program or campus, and passes an application or a request for a call to the admissions team with the conversation attached.

Does the Talven Web Assistant work for the public sector and non-profits?

Yes. The Web Assistant answers people from approved information, helps them find a practical next step, and brings in a person when the conversation needs one.

People may arrive unsure, under pressure or in another language. A non-profit or a community service can set how sensitive moments are handled, so care stays human where it must.

For public bodies, the CKAN open data connector reads an open data portal. A public body's Web Assistant can answer from that data as well as from its website.

Does the Talven Web Assistant work for technical services such as fire safety?

Yes. The Web Assistant helps customers describe a building, a risk or a deadline, and it passes a qualified request to your specialists.

Anything urgent leaves the sales path at once. A visitor who describes a real emergency is told to leave the conversation and use the emergency route, and the Web Assistant does not try to handle it in chat.

Can I see customer names or results?

No. We show a customer's name, logo or quote only with that customer's permission, and we publish no results.

We give no conversion, time-saved or satisfaction figures on this site. The way to measure the value for your business is to try it on your own content.
